Fading

The colour pigment loses its molecular attraction with the fabric itself. Common reasons include bleaching, washing with hot water or not following recommended care guidelines.

Pilling

Groups of short or broken fibers become tangled together in a tiny knot or ball, otherwise known as a pill. Usually formed due to rubbing during normal wear and use.

Seam Slippage

Separation or pulling apart of yarns in a fabric usually along a sewn seam or join.
